Default Flash Problem in Opera 9.25

I have installed flashplayer-nonfree & Opera 9.25 from Synaptic.
The problem is it wont play any youtube flash movies. The video remains "white".
I have checked the plugin path in Opera Preferences. They are:
Code:
[Paths]
/usr/lib/opera/plugins=1
/usr/lib/flashplugin-nonfree=1
/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins=1
The contents of /usr/lib/opera/plugins are
Code:
libnpp.so operaplugincleaner operapluginwrapper
NOTE: I had downloaded Opera 9.5 earlier and it was working well with Flash but used to crash too often. So i uninstalled it and again installed Opera 9.26 but now Flash doesnt work. So i removed this version too and tried to install from Synaptic(v 9.25) but still no success.

Plz Help Me as I gont like Firefox(dont flame me yaar) and wont shift from Opera.

Have you tried the solution given here:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/OperaBrowser
Quote:
This is not the be-all and end-all of flash problems. If problems persist even when using the most recent version of flash, and the plugin appears to be recognized (it shows up in the opera: plugins "webpage"), editing the opera startup script may help:
gksudo gedit /usr/bin/opera

Find the place where it says
# Workarounds for the "preloaded libXt" problem.

and add the lines:
# Flash workaround.
LD_PRELOAD="libflashplayer.so:${LD_PRELOAD}"
export LD_PRELOAD

just above that line. If you aren't using libflashplayer.so, insert the name of the plugin you are using instead.

Ok, Had this problem some time back,
And here's what I remember.

First disable the other paths in opera prefs.
Then copy the flash files to the opera plugins folder.
That worked for me.Hope it works for you.
