and talking about the Everex gPC, Indian manufacturers pwned these guys.

Remember seeing the Ad in between pages 25-26 on digit this february ? eSys made an excellent VFM PC for 10k thats much cheaper than the same config assembled, and it uses Ubuntu instead of gOS. With Pentium Dual Core E3160 + 2gig ddr667 ram + intel 945g mobo + 200GB HDD + mouse.keyboard + cabinet + speakers at 10k, its a steal.

I don't want to see ubuntu on my PC anymore.

dunno. read february digit. I heard they have several retailers here. As you are in Mumbai, you can easily find one of those desktops.

But I think it may even be a typo. Though the prices seemed to be realistic as far as the price difference between models were concerned, the same stuff on their website were qouoted at 24k-36k

gPC is actually a "green PC", the power consumption is comparable to a laptop (slightly higher without display).

And 10k for that config???? Not possible as of today. Its surely a typo

@ infra, so that means only orders are booked. On the other hand I downloaded gOS, it only looks better on web, not good if you're addicted to openSUSE and Ubuntu!!
