Default mplayer problem in suse 10.3


hi
i have installed mplayer in suse but when i play movie from command line
movie starts at the top of screen and there is no box for the screen so cant even bring it back to center of screen. is there any option to do so.

or any other player ? i have other media player already installed ( by default )
but when i play movie from those players it says need to download codecs ...

I really wonder why you need to use command line to start mplayer. Just press Alt and F2 and type mplayer and press enter

I'd say install mplayer-gui which is a gui frontend for the mplayer cli and try if things are solved. It most prolly will be

I think it wont work on Suse..
As i have clearly mentioned that its only possible in Ubuntu. Thats why my post was deleted...

^may be vista needs some acid work from u; better go pour some acid on Vista losers

mplayer compiled with gui support is only useful.
