You can't install Ubuntu on a Windows NTFS partition.Linux has its own filetype,ext3.
Yeah you can use them both without any troubles.But install windows first because windows has this irritating habit of wiping out the boot information of any other OSes present in the system.

you can install ubuntu on FAT32 partition but it's highly unrecommended. If you still want to then check WUBI.

yep, try wubi, it will download ubuntu for you & then install it for you.
but the software is still in BETA testing stage, so it may not work for you. then you have to try using the conventional method |
