Default Opensuse doesnot shutdown

I have a PIV computer with Windows XP and Opensuse 10.3 installed. Now when I shutdown my computer in Opensuse it stops at the point Skipped services at runlevel 0 susefirewall2_setup. However I can restart my computer by pressing ctrl-alt-del. Disabling firewall also doesnot work and uninstalling firewall is also not possible due to various dependency problems. Any solution.

My 1000th post.

Its an ACPI problem.

Step 1:
Open YaST, click on System and then Boot

Step2:
Select the line which says Open SuSE 10.3 (see picture below) and click edit

Step 3:

In the box,"Optional kernel command line parameter" add acpi=force

Click OK and Reboot your system and see now

Thank you all for help. Indeed it was acpi problem. However command acpi=force didnot work. Instead acpi=power-off worked fine.
