I want to say first that this is not the only way of setting up such a system. There are many ways of achieving this goal but this is the way I take. I do not issue any guarantee that this will work for you! 1 Preliminary Note Graphics:
I will use the username falko in this tutorial. Please replace it with your own username. 2 Installing The Base System The installation of the base system is easy as 1-2-3 because the Linux Mint installer doesn't offer a lot of options to choose from, so you cannot go wrong. Download the Linux Mint 4.0 (Main Edition!) iso image from http://www.linuxmint.com/download.php, burn it onto a CD, and boot your computer from it. At the boot prompt, select Start Linux Mint: ![]() ![]() This is how the Linux Mint desktop looks. Double-click the Install icon on the desktop to start the installation to the hard drive: ![]() The installer starts. First, select your language: ![]() Then choose your time zone: ![]() Change the keyboard layout, if necessary: ![]() Since this is not my Tutorial, please find the original author with his full tutorial below: Source with Full Tutorial

Good one. I must try it though it will not be my primary OS.
Just few questions. Will it install on a Celeron desktop? Any drivers needed? Can it play mp3/divx files? Can i connect to internet through my SE mobile? Are SE drivers available for this linux?
