Default Remove double versions ??

Hi

As you know I am using Fedora 7. I previously used the 'upgrade' option in yum to upgrade packages. But later I found that 'upgrade' option leaves the older version as it is. I upgraded my system like that. Now the disk usage is 6.xx GB. My files are only about 1 GB. I want to remove these double versions. How to do this ? Please help !!
