Default anyone tried OpenSolaris ??

Hello...

Today, I received a starter kit of OpenSolaris which contains 2 DVDs with 3 Live versions of OpenSolaris.

I checked those versions. They are pretty simillar to Ubuntu.

Anyone tried OpenSolaris here ? Should I install it on my Laptop ?

What is the difference in Linux and OpenSolaris ??

Bump !!

^livecd it was.nothing special may be except kernel solaris is now trying to getting user friendly by using linux drivers for more h/w support and all.i dont know which kernel is superior.but BSDs/Solaris servers shows more uptime than Linux.but linux is way more mature to provide drivers for almost all h/w's unlike these kernels based distros.
