How to install Open Office from UBUNTU CD-ROM

Recenly i installed XUBUNTU 7.10 . It has only open office writer. I want to install whole openoffice.org suite. I also have UBUNTU 7.10 CD . I do t wanna download it as it will take hell lot of time. Is it possible to install it from cdrom. Please guide me

Just put the CD in the drive, it should prompt you to add it as an media. If it doesn't then start synaptic, go to repositories and click on add cd-rom.

I was able to install extra apps from ubuntu live cd too, but that was a ubuntu install.

Ok thank you guys. Installed oo from ubuntu alternate cd
