Default how to expand size of "/" partition?


i m using SuSE linux,i have saperated 8 GB for it,but now i have only 1GB free space in it,
i have more 6GB free space(un allocated) on HD,how can i use it??

Resize using gparted but beware there isn't a 100% safe way to resize a partition AFAIK. I have done so successfully. Also, how easily depends on the type of filesystem you're using.
