Default RealPlayer sound problem

I installed RealPlayer 10, only to find that the videos (*.rm, *.rmvb etc. but no mp3) are running fine but without sound. Is anything missing here?

Yay which Operating System are you using?

Dunno whats the problem with realplayer but you can install any good codec pack which will let you play all the major file formats.

totem-xine and mplayer are unable to play *.rmvb and *.rm files. That's why.

mplayer will play real media files if you have w32codecs installed.
