Hi,
I am looking for an opensource and free backup and synchronisation utility that will run on both Linux and Windows (preferably from pendrive). Please suggest your favourites.

Yes. I want to synchronise a folder between my pc and pendrive. I add, change and delete the files in the folder a lot.

What do you want to backup? rsync and tar should be good for making backups in *nix environment.
