Fedora too can fit well(?)-they got right gui tools for server setup.although the pkg management will never come near apt, dpkg as in debian etch/lenny or ubuntu.i am ignorant reg wireless support.

^^^ package management is the only reason why i suggested debian/ubuntu. nothing beats it! plus ubuntu has decent wireless card support or at least solutions if its not supported out of the box

better ubuntu than mint.u'll learn about what proprietary and OSS are!.also i feel ubuntu is the distro that is stable.mint has customized many a things afaik.while Ubuntu sticks on with debian sid+latest Gnome and few extra works like upstart replaced sysVinit.go the ubuntu way! or even better Debian way!!
