I need a good Download Manager for Linux (as DAP, FlashGet for Windows).

downloader for X. i think its in the official repos.

install download for X. i'm pretty satisfied wid it.... if you want a bit torrent client then install deluge. the best

Hello,
Any one installed Granular Linux..( pcworld magazine gave the iso iin its August dvd) it Multiget is included with Granular.. Also its interface actually similar to Flashget and do more than it it is from chinese university students project.. enjoy it..

may be some mime thing to link firefox to open a terminal and wget -c(or in recursive mode) someone shud come up with such an idea.
meanwhile i use epiphany browser(mozilla gecko based) got extension to start downloads by gwget(so called gui for wget).
so for ff too this may be achievable.
