Default NFS Server


Hi,
i have Linux box(RHEL) and a windows xp system(XP sp3 &/or windows 2003)
i want to configuer NFS server on windows system and clinet on linux box.
i have tryed ProNFS , Allego NFS & Disk access windows server but i am not able to access from linux box ...

Does any one have good online guide or if any one can explane me how to do thais ..

you need to mount the nfs share in Linux box.also check the default firewall rule(lokkit for iptables firewall) in redhat/fedora to allow mount the nfs share from windows.u can flush iptables for a check as "su" root privilage as "iptables -F"

have a aplication which work on NFS .. i try to connect linux-linux but it is given me " reason given by server: Permission denied " ?? what i do .. i have allmost done all the posible setting ...

pls help man ..

Someone can help you if you specify what have you done so far.
I have never used nfs on windows but on the linux server which I've worked on, I had to specify the directory to be served by NFS in the file /etc/exports.

i have configuered NFS server
New I can share files Linux to linux , Linux to windows , Windows to linux.
using NFS.
If any one need help i may able to do so ..

How did you do it? By voodoo? Else you can put it up, so others who face the problem may know.
