Thumbs up Re: Linux on one CD

Thansk all for the unanimous Ubunto!

Now is it workable to download the whole file? I ve not succeeded so far. Also which can i choose between 7.04 vs LTS vs alternate CD? Is there any difference there? Is there an option of buying this CD for a small price?

Thanks again
Ramesh

^^ If you want to avoid the installing part and try (almost) everything which is normal out there, then go for knoppix.

^^ Yeah, but the Knoppix, as a live CD is way too much better than Ubuntu as LIVE CD.

Yes,Knoppix is a packed live distro, while it is fun to know that Ubuntu was born from Gnoppix(half born) ,a Gnome based Knoppix.
