can i use hibernate in xp ?

hi
i have ubuntu 7.04 ,xp and 98 installed on my sys i wana know can i use

hibernate feature in xp without affecting the grub ?

yes. offcourse there is no problem
as both oses are on different partions there is no problem

Yes you can hibernate and on the next power on, when you choose XP through GRUB, it'll resume the computer like normal. I'm using Vista's hibernation without any issues here.
