Default Edubuntu not installing


When I boot my computer with edubuntu CD it shows the boot screen and option screeen but after selecting any options of those available it shows the following on the screen(at lower portion):

A similar response I get from Gentoo or ubuntu installer. help requested

try changing the boot loader or use some utility like FREEDOS

reasons can be a bad CD(media) containing live-cd or memory problem.supposing that u cant get it installed.even in some cases the hdd too got problem.

try Ubuntu "alternate" CD.
YES.Ubuntu launchpad got answers for u:

that means when livecd first shows a CLI screen with ubuntu logo,enter below commands appended to the line

Tried three different variants of linux but same result I get each time.

If a hardware problem is there , then Windows should also have some problems . But I haven't experienced any.Comment.
