which instlux for ubuntu 7.04

well
i have succesfully installed ubuntu 7.04 from cd now my friend want to

install but his cd drive is not working so i googled and came to instlux

can be used now the problem is :

i dont know which instlux to install for ubuntu 7.04 from the link

and whether ubuntu 7.04 iso which i created from alcohol and pasted in his

hdd can be used or not.

I don't see a version of InstLux for anything above Ubuntu 6.06. No luck mate.

U can install Ubuntu Feisty 7.04 without CD drive,provided u got a networked computer or if ur friend's pc already have ubuntu iso,u can install from Floppy.
there are many methods;google for that.even digit got a link but that is for RedHat.
searching http://ubuntuforums.org is the best.

i am having only one problem in this i dont have alternate desktop CD nor

can i download as my download limit is 400 mbs . i want to know how can i

convert my ubuntu 7.04 live cd into alternate desktop CD

if its not possible can someone alternate desktop CD give to me on cd
