open source equivalent to Win

I am posting the topic here because of open source software where as many ( read 10 ) minds by default think open-source means linux .

I am an windows guy , I do nothing but only customize the windows with WINDOWBLINDS 5.5 . actually its a shareware and its date is ending . So I need an open-source equivalent of windowblinds 5.5 . is that possible ? actually I want to use windowblinds only...if u want to help me then pm me with your idea...if u do have some soln . I am using windowblinds 5.5 . I can use previous versions also .

I don't know of many but ShellWM is an O-S Shell Replacement .. Its beautiful too
