Gentoo error

I burnt a Gentoo 2006 Live and Installation CD and just booted to preview from live mode. the live boot takes place perfectly till System is booting screen. after 100% booting completes my monitor goes black with a small moving icon with Hz ? written on it. so now i couldn't start gentoo. i've connected my monitor to my nVidia GPU. will it start if i connect my monitor to the onboard graphics? but i prefer to run from my GPU.

Haven't used the gentoo live cd with nvidia GPU so am not sure but it should work.
But, have you checked if the CD is burnt properly?
Also see if you can access the tty1 by pressing ctrl + alt + F1?
You can make changes using xorgconfig from there.

Did you check the md5sum of the cd?

uh Oh. Please get sabayon. It will help you get started quickly, it's a type of gentoo only.
At this rate you'll never be able to install gentoo.
IMO, the first pre-requisite of using gentoo is to be able to read.

From where can i get Sabayon? Is it a Linux?

Sabayon is gentoo only, but just that it's made easier to start with.
Search on google for it's home page, it should be sabayonlinux.org
