If you ask me, I see no difference. But I like Ubuntu more cause I get a lot of support from the community now with that (Been using it since 2004) ...

Latest Ubuntu is 7.04 "Feisty Fawn"

Latest Fedora Core is 6 "Zod"

Fedora 7 comes in a couple of months, and Ubuntu 7.10 comes in October.

Fedora comes with many many bundled applications.
Ubuntu comes with just the essentials and from my previous experience is very easy to install and use.
get fedora only if u want extra applications.
u can easily add thousands of applications on ubuntu from their repository after installation.

u can get ubuntu from www.shipit.ubuntu.com

the is a kde version at www.shipit.kubuntu.com

Intel_Gigacore - Free completely. Only if you order a massive quantity, you got to pay shipping charges and certain taxes which they cant pay for you.

the only problem that can arise is PEBKAC. Otherwise it's just a matter of choice.

Fedora has a good balance between easy to use and professional work.

Ubuntu is more for home use and fedora is good for developers
