Default booting probblem :Error->device not found


hi i am using opensuse10.2, when booting some "FATAL

error on fan" is occuring i have no idea what is

happenin.. /dev/hda8 is not found and /dev/hda7 not

found and there is error message "There are are no jobs

in this shell" it exits the /sh.... and a prompt gets

printed thats it.. what is happenin... can anyone help

me out..

The actual booting sequences are

The below is the exact booting sequence when booted in

failsafe mode..

Umm.. When did the problem start? Was it there right after installation too?? If you made any changes in your hardwae/software.. mention them here.

I think this happened while opensuse was booting.. When did this start happening ? What did you do ?

yep.. i removed the hdd and took it to my frens home to get some data as.. thats it.. i have done it b'fore and i havent got any problems like this.. i used only the windows partition to transfer data.. wish you can derive a solution..

guys thanx for your guidance and patience.. i cleared my self the problem.. the problem is that , i installed opensuse as primary master and when i connected as secondry master i had the problem "device not found"..
