phone manager for k750i on ubuntu??

is there any application for SE k750i like the "MY Phone Explorer" for ubuntu dapper?
i need a phone manager from which i can type msgs on the pc and then send these to the phone (this was y i was attracted to "my phone explorer" on windows xp)
i found gnokii..but it somtimes crashed,somtimes cud not detect the phone.
i also found tsemgr from soundforge...but cud not install it..
when i use ./configure,it says gtk-config not found..

so help for installing tsemgr or any other related application will b appriciated..

@mediator is there any software for Nokia 6070 [For Edgy]which would let me browse the phone's file system upto gallery-->images like Nokia PC Suite for Windows.

AFAIK, there r 2 softwares : Kandy and gnokii. Google for them or use the command "apt-get install kandy gnokii". Kandy is part of kde afaik and gnokii is a part of gnome.
