How SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10 is good for using to the desktop . pls help
I heard that it's very good

I have used it. Doesn't make sense using it at home. It's the same as opensuse. Only, the repositories are different. The repositories have more stable software which doesn't make sense for a home user, who'll want a more cutting edge technology.

SLED can be used for free, as long as you don't need support from them.

No, the cost is for support and updates from official channel, beyond 60 days. I got it and used it for over a month, free of cost and non-pirated. There's no piracy under GPL. Piracy is left behind in EULA's.

yeah anyone can copy and create CD and DVD, but if u want support then u will hav to pay...

Yes you can buy subscription from them for $50 per year and $125 for three years.

Yes you can download it via torrents, ftp, http.
You can also buy boxed set if you'd like.
Check suse's site for more details.
