Default Adding repositories

Hi,
I was trying to add a repository from the following Opensuse Site:

http://en.opensuse.org/Package_Repositories

Initially I started with the OSS, but the download is going on and on......
it already has downloaded 23mb, how much will it take, some time back i had added the Packman repoitory, but it did not take such a large download....

Am I missing something over here?

Default Re: Creation of repository

If the repository has lots of packages it can take time. It seems OSS repo is a 27mb file so should take about 45mins. Only add the OSS and non-OSS repositories, that should be enough IMO.
This might be useful too http://linux.wordpress.com/2006/12/2...-repositories/ if you've not already seen it.

And thread title changed, as the previous one was misappropriate.
