Default how to uninstall ubundu linux


hi..
i have two os on my system.win98 n winxp...few days back i hav intall ubundu linux .process gone fine n after it i hav got dual boot. now the problem is i dont know how to uninstall that linux ....i try to delete it by deleting that partion of harddrive but when i restarted the system it got black n the error come grub lodding ..error 22 or one time error17. i dont knwo how to uninstall it .so i hv to intall is again to work on my windows oses. i tried to install fadora core 3 over it thinking that it would work,but all waste.
pls can anyone tall me how to uninstall lubundu linux ...without disturbing my remaining oses.

well deleting the linux partition is the best way to uninstall it

try booting to DOS PROMPT with some win9x bootable cd

and use some dos softwares like Partition Magic to delete that linux partition

well if u wanna quit linux and restore to ur previous Dual boot

u can run the WinXP setup to return to the Recovery console

and use the command fixmbr to get the dual boot option next time u start ur system
