Post Beryl Problem.


Hi brother,when i started bery then bery goes on taskbar but my problem is when i try to do changed "select windows manager" nd click on bery option then msg came "The Composite Manager Crased twice within a minute nd is therefore disabled for this session."
what is problem?.please help brother.
i'm waiting 4 your reply..

The graphic card is not supported...Are you using via chipset? Try to update your graphics card drivers...Check your /etc/X11/xorg.conf file...

sorry 4 not mention distro,My distro is FC6 .My laptop Dell 640 brother,nd bery nice work in root but when i trying 2 activate in my user account(LEARNER) then msg coming brother.

Open your home folder and press ctrl+h to view hidden files and folders...Now delete all beryl/emerald related files and folders...Then logoff...login...Restart beryl...

If you are using KDE, disable taskbar transparency.

Hi thanX 4 help brother but another problem is bery start work fine but when i shutdown my laptop nd start again but bery is not starting automatically.ok
Then i every time start from Sytem Bery Manager>click on bery icon(Taskbar)>Select Windows Manager>nd click on bery option.
Lots option in bery ,please help brother nd i am using KDE.
please help brother
