Post Re: cost of RHCE in one month.

LPI Is Linux Proffessional Institute-which is conducting exams LPIC-1 which needs U to write two exams 101 and 102 .for advanced Linuxers there is LPIC-2(201 and 202) .You can attend LPIC exmas at any prometric or pearsonvue authorised testing centres.tests are online.have similar fees as of RHCE.but more matured with its vendor neutralness. All major Linux vendors like Debian,Ubuntu,RedHat,Novell etc supports LPIC.
Also along with LPIC-1 u can write one more exam(S) to get Ubuntu Certified Professional and MySQL Certification:

*

Of high quality: relying on critical input from numerous Linux experts and employing scientific and industry-recognized psychometric processes
*

Distribution-neutral: verifying knowledge on any standard Linux system
*

Relevant: surveying thousands to determine the skills that need to be tested
*

Training-vendor independent: encouraging a variety of methods and approaches to test preparation
*

Supported and sponsored by a large number of Linux companies and projects
