Default Install Linux( DUAL BOOTING)


I have two partitions NTFS. in one of them windows XP is installed. It is the main partition of my hard disk(C).I want to install linux in my computer (in C or D drive)in dual booting. I have partition magic with me.Can u tell me how it can be done step by step.

Read these threads I want Multi Boot Sys with WinXP & Linux Total Linux n00b, wants to shift to linux, HELP!!! Total Newbie for LINUX:Plzzzzz help me out guys
