Question KShutDown Installation Problem...?


Hi guys,i,m installing shutdown software "kshutdown-0.9.1beta.tar.bz2" through this command "tar xvfj nameoffile.tar.bz2" nd successfully decompress.Then i type in terminal " ./setup" nd then i pressed "I" key start but saying "Setup: Configuration failed!".Please help me..

You are missing gcc. You will have to install gcc to compile the package. But I would rather suggest you get the package for your distribution via package manager.
