Smile Re: Checking Dataone account usage in Ubuntu/ Linux

the easiest way is to get a script from:
http://dobs.sourceforge.net/
edit and give yo uid and passwd and run the script.
if u r running debian testing or ubuntu get ies4linux.it will automatically install for you M$ internet explorer 6sp1 or even IE7.but you should make sure you have the latest WINE installed.or follow the instructions on their site and add wine latest to ur /etc/apt/sources.list;below is the link for ies4linux.
http://www.tatanka.com.br/ies4linux/page/Main_Page
pls try to read the small howtos available on above sites and configure.scripts can be run as "./foobar" if scripts are set executable.read more on the site!Enjoy GNU/Linux
