Well well,what a coincidence,i was just going to start this thread about KnopperDisk which is a Gentoo based distro for USB drives and Floppy.

Floppy version
386 or higher machine
An empty disk (1.44mb)
dd (linux) or rawrite (windows)

USB version
A machine with usb support (probably 586 or higher)
An empty disk (1.44mb)
dd (linux) or rawrite (windows)
USB stick (minimal 64mb)

Linux is going places what more to expect. No windows Live CD leave alone windows OS on thumbdrive.

Me too wanna know how it turns out to be when used especially the hardware detection
