I searched this forum before posting this thread but it did'nt solve my problem, which is very simple. Connect to internet with my Knoppix Live DVD. I am on cable internet and in Win XP I use Cyberoam 24Online Client to connect to internet. My TCP/IP properties in WinXP is as follows IP address : 192.168.3.45 Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway : 192.168.3.1 Preferred DNS Server : 202.153.32.2 Alternate DNS Server : 202.153.32.3 I want an exact solution to my problem. Kindly help me Next query is totally different I am looking for the following ebook Internetworking with TCP/IP: Client-server Programming And Applications By Douglas E. Comer and David L. Stevens Please give me a link for this

Sorry i am unable 2 solve U R problem because I am not a technical GeeK as U .
I think U want SWITCH other and better linux distros -------- Freespire -----Unproblamatic and easy even dialups and winmodems Mepis is more advaced than freespire .......... But because of Cable cannection I REcomented UBUNTU ........ it was rocking IT also give commercial support too .there is a gigantic Ubuntu cammunity there Post a forume there U MUST BE SOLVE THIS PROBE .......... Thnx........................ |
