I wanted to know if there is any way of backing up my saved passwords(in Firefox)...If it is possible then how will I be able to restore them after I make a fresh install?

not an expert on this,but in GNU/Linux,u can bkup /home/user/.mozilla directory and use it after reinstall.

just copy the folder "Mozilla" to safe location
Path C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Mozilla i hope by doing this u can backup everything... (bookmarks, passwords, extensions, themes,..) I think we can excuse him. He's still new. And since Firefox is an Open Source browser so I we can be a bit lenient even if the OS is windows.
