Google Earth

I had downloaded Google Earth from google's site the file name is GoogleEarthLinux.bin Now I do not know how to install it. Plz help me out. I am using Ubuntu 6.06 64 bit

cd <directory where google earth is placed>
sudo chmod + 777 GoogleEarthLinux.bin
./GoogleEarthLinux.bin

@Nishant_nms, I'm not very sure whether Google Earth would run on a 64-bit Ubuntu Linux!!
Google has not mentioned, so it must be a 32-bit application. Since you have installed
Ubuntu 6.06 64-bit , you can't install Flash, Java , Win32 codecs etc., (these are 32-bit applications)

win64codecs may be available soon as winxp_64 OS already available afaik.

... and for good performance of GoogleEarth, ensure the graphics drivers are updated. else moving around will be blotchy (it wont be very bad though)
