Default How to install Firefox


Please tell me how to install firefox and thunderbird in RedHat 8 Psyche
Kindly give me step by step instructions.

saami try some new linux distros like debian etch,ubuntu dapper or fedora 5
new version of redhat community distro is called fedora.see this is quiet an old distro.but u can anyways install by downloading and double clicking the setup for firefox.and even thunderbird also can be.but remember to check the dependencies listed there.

I am using Fedora Cora 4 in home. But in my work place our instituttion uses
RedHat 8 Psyche. I got permission to install firefox and thunderbird.
I check dependencies.

If anybody experienced, tell me how did u solve it.

Install yum from http://linux.lsu.edu/yum/redhat/8.0/
Also, check if the required python library is present. Yum will make installing softwares easier.

Error message got is
/lib/i686/ilbpthread.so.0 : version 'GLIBC_2.3.2'
is missing............
Where to get it?

Download the gzipped file .. Update your libstdc++ (your c++ libraries ) to version 6.Then it will work
