Default Configuring SDSL connection in linux and using squid as proxy


Hi to all.... after having some dates with windows... now i'm looking for a tux.

configuring SDSL
i'm having a 2 mbps sdsl connection in my office with a public IP x. I'm running it in windows with proxy server for 15 clients, but now it will increase to 20 clients. so i'm planing to do the server configuration in linux and my first step will be the conf the internet connection. i have tried but i failed so guys .. please help me out. in eth0 i have put my ip/subnet/gateway. but where do i put the DNS address... i was unable to find the file.

in eth1 i have put my network ip 192.168.0.111 and this will be the proxy server add for the clients... i have to configure the squid. so i need the help in that also.

Put it in /etc/resolv.conf (read "man resolv.conf")
