How do I get rid of this startup screen & windows will boot normally again? |

Method 1.) Boot using XP Setup CD and in Recovery Console give following command:
fixmbr Method 2.) Boot using 98 CD and give following command: fdisk /mbr |

if im not wrong then ur using only windows now..if yes just edit ur boot.ini file once u boot in windows...

Guys!
The boot loader, he is talking about is the Mandrake one not the Windows loader! Did u read the loader entries? these r: linux,windows,floopy,failsafe, which r present in Linux loaders not in windows loader. |

LILO boot loader of Mandriva Linux is installed in MBR. So you get the LILO Boot
options - Linux, Windows, failsafe, floppy. @Vishal Gupta has already provided you the solution. That will fix your problem. |
