Default any 3GP/MP4 converters for linux?

Anyone know of some 3gp/mp4 video converter for linux? I have searched a lot on google but found nothing.
I would prefer a native application, not one running on wine
EDIT: preferably an free/open source application.

I don't know which Distro you are using but I can use FFMPEG to convert from one format to another and that includes 3gp/MP4. Have a look at it...

Yeah, FFmpeg does the Audio/Video conversion. It's Open-source.
Get it from here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/ffmpeg/

Yeah I am trying out ffmpeg. Besides I found a perl script for converting to 3GP videos. Here's the download link from softpedia http://linux.softpedia.com/progDownl...load-9764.html.
It is still giving me problems. Let me try for a while more and see if I can sort it out.

Also use Xamoz Video Converter. It's the GUI frontend for FFmpeg.
It gives users an easy to use GUI interface. Get it from here:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/xamoz

ffmpeg is really great. Does work great for now. Just need some more understanding of all the parameters. Some hit and miss trials will give me more ideas.
For right now, I downloaded ffmpeg svn, as Ubuntu's ffmpeg didn't have amr support, which is needed for 3gp.
For 3 gp support, have a look at
http://www.rezsoft.org/3gp/ - it has a nice script.
and this thread http://lists.mplayerhq.hu/pipermail/...ly/003509.html
Another link that helped me http://vardhman.blogspot.com/2005/05...-in-linux.html

BTW, JGuru, Xamoz can't be found.

Sorry @Tech_your_future. The Xamoz project is in pre-Alpha stage!!
Why the SourceForge guys have given the download link!!
You can try MediaCoder, an excellent Audio/Video batch converter tool.
Get it from here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/mediacoder/
Download the 'Full' version with 'Extra plugins'. This one works!! I checked it.
MediaCoder works only in Windows O.S!!

Then Media Coder's of no use to me. I need something that works in Linux. And ffmpeg works quite nice. And the myth3gp script is really good, if you feel lazy enough.

Some related projects can be found here http://www.mplayerhq.hu/design7/projects.html

List of some projects that use ffmpeg http://swik.net/ffmpeg/Projects+that+use+ffmpeg

That last link Swik.net was good. They are on-going projects.Hopefully they should be
available in around 6 to 8 months time.

Use ffmpeg and mencoder with K2.3gp http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=29220
U can also use mencoder using frontends mentioned at mplayer website or using script.
