Help me with USB Modem use at linux

I have been using airtelbroadband with USB modem zyxel model prestige 600 series.............Dose these modem were accpeted in linux if so which linux accepts fedro or redhat????

Download the FC rpm from here http://eciadsl.flashtux.org/download.php and install it using command

 rpm -ivh <filename>

.
Don't know how to configure the connection after that. Someone using Airtel maybe able to help further.

Suse 10.1 supports USB modems. I have tested one USB modem with Suse , it
detected it & also after configuring it I was able to connect to the Net.
Forget RedHat, it's Fedora now, RedHat only concentrates on the Enterprise segment.
First try with Fedora 5 , download the drivers & install them as @Tech_your_future
has suggested. See if it works. Otherwise try with Suse 10.1.
