Default Fedora 5 install failed!! Help...

Hi,
I tried to install fedora 5 on ma new western digital 160 GB hardisk! But it failed!
It says........
******
Disk error 80, AX=4214 drive 9F
Boot failed!!
******

what do u think?
Xp is also installed on this hardisk and installed without any probs!

I have 1st partition -> c: -> windows 30 gb
2nd -> reserved for root partition of FC5 -> 50Gb
3rd -> swap
4 -> d: -> 66 GB

This all happens at the first screen that comes when boot cd is put in!!

First of all don't give 30 GB to C drive. Instead assign something like 10 or 12 GB
maximum. This way your Windows will boot faster. Also for any partition don't go
beyond 20 GB. Especially for Windows, since it will reduce the search time, when
searching for files!! As far as Linux is concerned you can give as much space as
you want to, it searches fast. Try installing Ubuntu in your harddisk and tell me.
Fedora has more bugs in it.

He said not to given 30GB to windows xp because incase if windows xp crashes or BSOD. You will lose all the data in C drive.

You can have 15 gb allocated to windows XP.

Have fun with fedora. KDE 4 is on the way.
