Unable to hear sounds in redhat 9

Hello Reader,

I have installed redhat 9 on my system. it detects the onboard sound on the motherboart Asus A7V8X-X. I have Artis 4.1 channel speakers which has a "auto shut-off if idle" feature. When i am listning to the music in RedHat 9 i stop getting sound when the speakers auto shutoff. The speakers simply dosent detect that the music is being played. This problem also occurs in Fedora Core. While in Suse 9.1 all works fine. In windows XP also there is no problem. If the speakers is off it gets on when any sound is played.
Please help me. Please guide me in detail as i am new to linux.

I solved the problem by installing latest drivers.
I want to remove this topic from the forum. Now how do i do this?
