Gmail in Opera

hey guys,
the chat feature of gmail is disabled in opera 8.54. how do u enable it?
in windows, u have to mask as mozilla. but that feature is not there in the linux version. i am using ubuntu 5.10.
pls help

i got the answer. i installed Opera tp2
