Default colinux, anyone tried yet....

Just came across this wonderful application colinux....
it's a freeware and runs linux in windows.... i have not yet tried it but here is a screenshot from one of my friends pc

u can notice GIMP and linux terminal in windows....

how many of u usig this already.... seems a nice app to me....

it does not create a virtual processor ir anything like VMWare.... so is very low on resources.... do not have a fox allocated memory.....

u will need a X server on windows he told me

here's to download

http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...group_id=98788
yeah i know it's nothing new..... just i came across it now.... and wanna know if someone's using it how it works......

Right now i am using VMware, I have a windows installed, Fedora installed and Slackware 10.2 installed.....
all 4 machines are networked together in a network ....

Here is another freeware, what do u think about this....
it claims to identify songs.....

It may be used by newbies to learn Linux in Windows.
But for hardcore Linux people like me, better use the
real Linux , than an emulator!!

well the thing is u hardly ever run games etc on linux.... so if u got a good system that can run 2 kernels and lots of ram may be u can run a linux in windows....
rebooting everytime is not fun...
and furtermore it does not make much sense to use wine coz u got to boot into windows to play games......
