Default where to get FC5 final


where to ger Fedora Core 5 Final on CD/DVD in delhi. please tell me as i dont have a very fast connection at home to download the massive 3.1gb.

you may also downlload the dvd iso if you like. you can get it from my college ftp server
http://mirror.cs.curtin.edu.au/linux/

also from http://mirror.aarnet.edu.au/, which includes nearly all the latest distro's.

DesertWind , anyway I told that URL first elsewhere.
I got it from Googling. They don't have Suse though.

BTW, price there is 99 for DVD iso and 149 for the DVD. What will be the difference in both offered?

Huh?? I thought both are same, ie 99 for the ISO, as well as the DVD. But i didnt get why they are giving the iso separately?? I mean they'l give the iso on dvd only na!

I ordered the 64 bit version on DVD from ebay.in.. Cost me 130 bucks.. Ill tell you guys once it arrives..

What's the difference between an iso image DVD and a bootable DVD? I hope Bootable is different from LIVE dvd as i ordered a Bootable DVD.

ISO can be used to burn or mount on a HDD for install whereas the bootable one is normal installation...

^^ Hehe yeah, but you can always make an ISO from the bootable DVD.. So why the hell do they sell it seperately??

just ordered my fedora core 5 from linuxbazar, costed me 160Rs. lets see when do i receive it.

Got my DVD yesterday.. Cost me 130 total Feodra Core 5 x86_64 is up and running here..

AMD Athlon64 2800+
1 GB RAM
120 GB Hard Disk.. (10 GB given to Fedora Core..)
Nvidia FX5700LE Gfx Card (Gainward)
MSI K8NM Motherboard..

And its running perfect here.. Nice distro!
