Default Linux Installation Issue

Hi All,
i am facing some issues while installing Fedora .. need some troubleshooting

system config ;
AMD 3000+ processor 939 socket
MSI RS-IL 480
Seagate HDD 160 GB

It is partitioned 140 Gb(Win XP) / 20 B

now my problem is that whenever i try to install the Fedora by
inserting the disk , after a couple of steps ..it says that HDD not found !!

if any more Logs are required do let me know

can anybody help

First provide 10 g.b. unpartioned and try it.If the problem continues reply....

which version of fedora are U using..get latest one if possible.have the installer detects your harddisk..if it detects try manual partition..

You have a SATA hard disk, dont you?
You need to boot the CD using 2.6 kernel and perform the installation, it will install smooth.
