Default linux problem

hey any one plz guide.

i installed fedora core 4 on my system having xp & 2000 dual boot.

i hav 4 drives c,d,e,f . i hav c as 2000,d as xp , f is empty on which i created linux ext partition and i installed personal desktop version on it. the installation finished succesfu... what i see is that the same boot loader window of 2000 and xp. i nowere see the linux as in boot menu. plz tell me what should i do to acess the linux os. f drive in windows is not seen.

As for your problem..
Did you create a boot partition?
Where did you install the Boot loader?

Post more details about these.

Boot with Fedora 1st CD or DVD :
Code:
type @ boot:
linux rescue
mount the partn.
chroot /mnt/sysimage
grub-install /dev/hda for IDE hdd OR
grub-install /dev/sda for SATA hdd
exit
exit
reboot
thats it.Now grub will be restored..

Also, you won't be able to see linux partition in windows without using 3rd party tools, that is why you cannot see your f drive which contains linux installation.
