Default how do i connect my digital camera in redhat


i got dilink digital camera, who do i use it redhat.

how do i transfer photos from camera to pc

Use Fspot buddy, It has a nice interface and good photo sharing functions. It can transfer photos from a memory card.
Do a
#yum install fspot
to install it. If yum isn't working or you have configured it wrongly, d/l its rpm and do a
#rpm -Uvh fspot-*.rpm

BTW Somebody post your yum config files, so that he can use it on his pc.. I'am not using Fedora or RHEL, So i unable to help
(/etc/yum.d/yum.conf, /etc/yum.d/)

I really suggest you to upgrade to FC4, as RH9 is quite an ancient distro now. So i'm unable to say, which thing is supported in that or not.

As far as query is concerned, gphoto2 is a great tool. You may find it in your RH9 Cds.

Di9it August 2k5, I think But kubuntu or ubuntu is equally good. Kubuntu is in this months' mag.
