Why dont you apply for an HP - Testdrive shell account? < http://www.testdrive.hp.com >

They provide following Linux/UNIX/OpenVMS/BSD/HP-UX servers available to you, once your account is accepted. You can then telnet inside and test your shell script on various hardware and operating system combinations.

Code:

That link was deleted long back. Now the project has been uploaded in Novell Forge.

You can get information about Project Sysinfo in the following website (Novell Forge):

http://forge.novell.com/modules/xfmod/project/?sysinfo

The code is also available. (Click on files and then Version 2.3).

Regards
Makarand Hazarika

PS: Please Send me feedbacks, what more you want to see in sysinfo. And also let me know about your experiences with sysinfo.

That was a cool utility indeed.

Small suggestions:

1) The License header on top of your script is outdated. Please update the address of FSF, as they've shifted their office to 51 Franklin Street, Boston.

2) In the documentation 3rd page, you have written:
PuTTY from Windows (tested when SSLed to SuSE machine)

That should be SSHed to SuSE machine... You never SSL into a server FYI.
